As metal radiators and pipes corrode, black sludge (magnetite) settles at the bottom of radiators and inside your boiler. Water can't flow, heat can't get out, and your boiler works harder for less.

What a powerflush involves
Most standard homes are done in a single day (around 6–8 hours).

Connect
A powerflush pump is connected to your system, usually at the pump or a radiator.

Chemical clean
Cleaning chemicals are pushed through at high flow to break up sludge and scale.
- 03
Radiator by radiator
Each radiator is flushed in turn, with direction reversals, until the water runs clear.
- 04
Protect
Clean water is refilled and an inhibitor added to protect against future corrosion.
